My experiences in broadcasting, ranging from concept creation to post-production, have allowed me to hone my journalism skills as a broadcasting producer, expand my social media and communication skills, and consult new producers in television production. In addition to my current duties in broadcasting, I manage the social media sites and instruct residential volunteers in studio and field productions.
Originally studying journalism, my qualifications include capability of writing in AP style and NPR style, for television, radio and Internet. Control room operations and stage management are also among my skills. My capabilities of video editing extend between Final Cut Pro 7 and X, Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and CC. Additionally, I am proficient with multimedia productions, formats and codecs for Internet, print, radio and television.
